The CBO Financial team has a keen collective eye for finding and considering the tax credit and grant programs that others may overlook. What follows is just a small sample of the programs we can incorporate (where applicable) into facility projects:
Renewable Energy Incentives:
Going green is one of the smartest decisions a social or human services organization can make. Renewable energy and energy efficiency funding allows organizations to get the financing they need while creating the most environmentally friendly projects possible.
Historic Tax Credits:
Available on federal and state level, these encourage the rehabilitation of historic buildings or developments located in historic districts. We will not only determine if your project is eligible for funding under this program, but can maneuver the project through the complex tax credit process.
Community Development Block Grants (CDBG):
This HUD grant ensures decent affordable housing, provides services to the most vulnerable in our communities, and creates jobs through the expansion and retention of businesses. We can help assemble a team of local nonprofits and business leaders to spur neighborhood revitalization efforts.
