Earning LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certification for your building results in a better end product and helps avoid costly additional service requests. Commissioning is a critical step to obtaining LEED certification, and working with a Certified Commissioning Professional (CBCP) is key.
Commissioning is divided into two levels: Fundamental Building Systems Commissioning and Additional (Enhanced) Commissioning. Each one has a number of tasks that must be accomplished to ensure that the building meets LEED criteria as well as the owner's operational needs.
