November 8, 2010 - CBO Financial’s new look reflects our commitment to moving communities in the right direction.
Our public face has now evolved to reflect our bold mission to revitalize communities and benefit populations in need. Our new branding is an outward symbol of our ongoing commitment to uplift the underserved and empower them to succeed.
CBO Financial, Inc. was founded in 1999 to help social service agencies access capital and manage construction of new facilities. Our goal has always been to contribute to the revitalization of low-income neighborhoods by providing outside investment and project management for projects that attract new businesses and create jobs—transforming communities and the lives of people who call them home.
CBO has an impressive track record of bringing investments to help communities in need. Let our numbers speak for themselves:
- CBO’s subsidiary, Community Development Funding, LLC (CDF), has received $130 million in five NMTC allocation awards over the course of seven years – only 14 other agencies nationwide can make this claim.
- CBO has written 8 successful NMTC applications for clients, totaling $365 million in allocations, designated to help economically revitalize low-income communities.
- As a NMTC placement agent, CBO has secured (and closed) $126 million NMTC investments / equity for projects nationwide.
- In addition to the NMTC program, CBO has raised $200 million to fund expansion projects for nonprofit agencies.
- Since 1999, CBO has secured $800 million in investments that benefit communities and populations in need.
